Utö- a 16 page comic zine & video compilation (2024)

“I participated in the Utö Experimental Publication Project in August 2024, and I wanted to experiment with character design inspired by the local shipwreck tales and the island’s atmosphere. I also wanted to experiment with wordless storytelling in a comic format and use the zine technique I learned in Introduction to Comics Art Project course.
The pages were drawn in Procreate, and the still images are scans from one of the booklets I printed out for our project exhibition. The video compiles digital images with audio recorded on Utö.”
